1. What this page covers

Three kinds of request, all through the same channel:

• Intimate images or recordings of you posted without your consent
• Other content you appear in without having agreed to it, including your personal details
• Someone posing as you or using your photos

Two things go somewhere else:

• Copyright. If you own copyright in something posted here without permission, send a notice to legal@kinkchatrooms.com instead. Our DMCA Policy says what that notice has to contain.
• Anything involving someone under 18. Don't wait on any process. Report it in the app with the Minor reason and email us. Nothing else on this site is handled faster. Community Guidelines section 3.1 has the detail.

2. If intimate images of you are on this site

Don't file a copyright notice, don't open a support thread, and don't wait in a queue. One email is enough to start it.

What to put in the email

Enough for a moderator to find the content without guessing:

• Where it is — the room it was posted in, or whether it came to you in a DM, and roughly when
• The username that posted it, exactly as it appears
• Enough to recognize the content — a description, the first words of the message it came with, the filename if you saw one
• An address we can reply to

Don't send us the image. We don't need a copy and we don't want one. We also won't ask you for identity documents — we have no way to store them and no reason to hold them.

What happens next

A person reads it — these are never decided by a filter. If the content is what you describe, it comes down, and the account that posted it loses access. Posting intimate images of someone who didn't agree is one of the rules that ends access on the first instance, with no warning, under Community Guidelines section 7.

We don't tell that person who asked for the removal.

If they threatened to post more unless you paid, sent more, or kept talking to them, say so in the email. That's extortion, it's a crime where you live, and it changes what we do with the account rather than just the content.

3. If you're in content you didn't agree to

Same address, same subject line, same treatment — it doesn't have to be a nude:

• A photo or video of you posted by someone else
• A recording or screenshot of your cam, which is its own violation here
• A screenshot of a private conversation you were in
• Your personal details — real name, address, workplace, phone number, or your accounts elsewhere. So is someone outing your kinks, your health, your gender history, or your orientation to people who didn't know.

Tell us where it is and which username posted it, the same way as above.

4. If someone is pretending to be you

Someone using your photos as their own, or posing as you by name, falls under Community Guidelines section 3.10. Write to contact@kinkchatrooms.com with the username involved and what of yours they're using — where the photos originally came from is usually the fastest thing to check.

Playing a character isn't impersonation. Passing themselves off as a specific real person to fool someone is.

5. Removing your own content

Most of this you can do yourself, right now, without writing to anyone:

• A message you sent — in a room or a DM, from the message itself
• A photo or your avatar — from your profile
• Your whole account — profile, then Danger zone, then Delete account. It happens immediately, with no waiting period.

A message you delete is gone from view at once and permanently erased 24 hours later, unless it's attached to a moderation record.

Three things deletion doesn't do:

• Your room messages stay. They're detached from your account and no longer attributed to you, but the text remains — removing one person's side of a public conversation would gut it for everyone else. They disappear on their own as the room fills past 500 messages.
• Your connection records survive for the rest of their 12 months. The link to your account is removed; the rest stays. They exist to answer legal process, and letting anyone erase them on demand would defeat that.
• A suspended account can't be deleted. Otherwise deleting and re-registering would erase a ban. Write to us to contest a suspension instead.

Our Privacy Policy section 8 lists exactly what goes and what stays.

6. What a removal does and doesn't do

When content comes down, it's gone from the site for everyone. Here's the honest rest of it.

• A copy is kept with the report. When something is reported, we capture a snapshot of it as evidence — otherwise removing the content would destroy the record of why. Reports and their evidence are deleted 30 days after the report is filed. Moderation records last 90 days.
• A removal doesn't stop a repost. We don't fingerprint removed files, so nothing here recognizes the same image coming back. If it does come back, write to us again — a second post ends the account behind it.
• Copies already downloaded are gone from our reach. Anything delivered to someone else's device before the removal can't be recalled, here or anywhere. Our Terms of Service section 5 says the same.
• We only control this site. If the same content is on other sites, each one has its own process.

7. Misusing this channel

Asking us to remove content that has nothing to do with you — to win an argument, to shut someone up, to get at an ex — is harassment, and it's treated as harassment under Community Guidelines section 3.5.

It also costs real time. Every false request is time a moderator isn't spending on section 2.

8. Changes to this page

We may update this page. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we give notice on the site before they take effect.
